2024 was truly exceptional for Nesto. Key events throughout the year pushed the project forward significantly. Together, we watched Nesto develop its character – not just as a residential project, but as one of Petržalka’s most modern districts, connected to historical events. Let’s recap what happened at Nesto over this past year.
Nesto On the Square is Almost Sold Out
Nesto On the Square offers apartments of various sizes. High-quality finishes, easy access to the city centre, abundant greenery, and a vibrant district convinced many buyers.
Today, only 12 apartments remain, representing a unique opportunity for those who want to be part of this exceptional community.
New Residents Moved in During Summer
The initial phase, including 180 apartments in three residential buildings, successfully passed final inspection. The first Nestonians began moving in during late summer.
Among the new residents was Ernesto – a fictional neighbour who shares insights about daily life at Nesto in our Instagram videos. With his humour and perceptive outlook, he highlights various topics relevant to residents and potential buyers.
Nesto Bloomed
Last year, we completed the landscaping connected to Nesto’s first section. The meticulously designed greenery at Nesto combines plants, shrubs, and trees into a harmonious whole that will change throughout the year.
Some flower beds are designed as rain gardens, using rainwater for irrigation, cooling the courtyards, and efficiently using natural resources. Plus, there’s greenery on the residential buildings’ facades, and an elevated meadow surprises visitors from the square. This makes Nesto unique. It’s located in the capital, a stone’s throw from downtown, yet surrounded by greenery rarely seen in cities.
Nesto Prime
In summer, we also launched sales for the most luxurious section, Nesto Prime. The project introduced Bratislava’s most diverse selection of large-format apartments. Thanks to extensive spaces and a small number of units, Nesto Prime will have a character similar to living in a house.
Building Infrastructure
In 2024, we completed and approved 613 meters of new roads, which are currently being handed over to the city. We understand how important parking is. That’s why we built almost 100 new parking spaces for both Nesto residents and their visitors. We’re transferring these parking spots to Petržalka district management. Next year, work will begin on connecting Kopčianska and Bratská streets, creating a direct link to the D2 highway.
Supporting Swimming Training
Movement and an active lifestyle are a central part of Nesto. We care about developing not just the district itself, but the entire neighbourhood. That’s why we have partnered with Petržalka district and SportInstitute civic association to launch free swimming courses for 1,560 Petržalka elementary school children.
We Care About Education
Want to see what Nesto looks like? Come check it out yourself. It includes a nearby forest park where we have installed several educational boards, including one called “The Story of Freedom.”
Our plans for 2025 are ambitious to take Nesto even further. We’re excited to share them with you. Follow us on social media so you don’t miss any Nesto updates.
