There are just a few months to go before the first of 164 flats in Nesto’s Na námestí zone will be granted final approval, and the new owners should be moving in this summer. Residential buildings C1, C2 and C3 have already had their facades completed, and are painted in colours that are in harmony with the surrounding countryside, and feature matching wooden panelling in balconies, loggias, and front gardens. Nesto is beginning to feel like a completed neighbourhood and the first Nesto residents will move in soon.
Nesto continues to grow according to our vision. The first three houses in the multipurpose Na námestí residential zone will be finalised in just a few months. Their exteriors are already completed, and the finished buildings feature multicoloured, eye-catching façades designed by renowned architects from the SIEBERT + TALAŠ studio.
The façades of the buildings make use of wooden sections from Robinia hardwood. The wood panelling is used in its natural form with no chemical surface finishing and will not require labour-intensive treatment, such as coating or impregnation, and the surface areas will gradually take on the natural hue of the wood in the future.
Balconies on the C1 and C2 buildings have aluminium slats with a wood-like finish – as this is required to meet fire safety requirements. There is a dark horizontal groove at the level of each floor. The whitewashed surfaces are vertically marked with decorative black chips of baked clay hand-injected into the wet plaster, which are visible from close up.
Compared to its neighbours, the C3 building is more diverse in appearance and colour. The façade is a combination of ochre shades, a concrete finish, and prefabricated reinforced concrete elements.
The private front gardens of the ground floor flats visually unite all the buildings in the Na námestí zone into a harmonic whole. Their fencing combines surfaces made of decorative reinforced concrete with Robinia wood slatted railings.
Ground floor storefronts and building entrances facing the square will have a green roof with plants and a unique wooden ceiling.
It is clear from the finished façades – life is coming soon to Nesto and the full potential of our project’s unique site will be realised. We are building superior quality housing close to Bratislava’s historical centre with diverse public services and civic amenities and employment opportunities at hand.
